Some researchers have even discovered that patients who listened to music during a surgical procedure had low cortisol levels, unlike other patients who did not listen to music.

Music has the power to change the speed of the brainwave thereby creating a brain activity that has a therapeutic effect on the entire body. During meditation, slow rhythmic music can change brain activity to send a person into a trance to help them relax better.

Music triggers the feeling of happiness

Listening to your favorite music can trigger hormones that will make you feel good. Music stimulates the release of dopamine which is responsible for the feelings of excitement and happiness. It is even more effective when the music is new to your ears and senses.
